We really love the chongqing fried chicken and the perfect taste soup here. The boneless chicken is so tender and crispy, you just can’t stop trying it.

I’ve been returning here since my first visit to this restaurant. My friend took me to try and I absolutely loved it. The food is delicious. I haven’t tried something I haven’t enjoyed. The dumplings are my favorite here. Staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere, great food. Definitely recommend trying!

Hidden gem for authentic Henan food! Lamb stewed noodle soup (羊肉烩面) is a must-try and Chinese hamburger (肉夹馍) is my absolute favorite. Also tried northern style breakfast (fresh soy milk, savory tofu pudding & fried dough) and it brought back so much memory Service was fast and friendly, prices were incredibly affordable, and TV was playing trendy Chinese drama. Perfect for curing homesickness. I’ll be sure to return, and thank you for serving humble and comforting Chinese food!

Got to the restaurant and we were seated immediately, given menus, and they seemed to sense as soon as we were ready to order, no waiting involved. The food was amazing! The broth of the beef noodle soup was so rich and hot, the cold sesame noodles were the right level of spicy and very chewy, and the Chinese hamburgers were fresh, warm, and crispy on the outside/soft on the inside (try adding chili oil!) Everything came out very quickly and fed our whole table for such great prices.

this is my most favorite place to eat in Chinatown, and one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. the food is so fresh, flavorful, and authentic. you can really tell a lot of work and love is put into the food. for under $10 you can get a big ol bowl of hand made noodles served in a complex and comforting broth. most times, i am unable to finish my bowl of ramen, but i walk out feeling so full, warmed, and ready for a nap. my husband and i love this spot and we have so many great memories here. we’ve brought friends and family. i often come here by myself to read, write, watch tv, or really just sit there and enjoy the atmosphere and i always feel welcomed. you can tell other patrons feel the same, often coming to sit, eat, and watch tv for awhile because it feels so homey. please come and support this small business! thank you for the amazing service:)

Deep fried (savory) dough, 油条, is a sweet childhood memory, an everyday indulgence enjoyed by many in China, and a rarity in the US. I put this place on the want-to-go list once I heard 油条 is on offer here. One-issue vote by foot, lol. While I was here, tried their spicy tripe chowder, hog trotter in brine, hand-pulled noodle soup with tripe, egg in a flatbread. Have yet to find anything to complain about. Got a pack of 4 pork-and-veg steamed dough (包子)as take-out. It turned into a quick and satisfying lunch for two the next day. The tables are filled up by a fair mix of foodies of Chinese origin and other hair/skin/eye colors. Fun fact: Period TV dramas of lavish costumes and scheming royal concubines seems to be the main side course to your food. Enjoy!
